Do you struggle sourcing high-quality images to use in your marketing materials?
As a marketer, I am always on the lookout for copywrite free images to supplement my own library. Although I enjoy personalizing my materials with self-shot images specific to my subject matter, I don’t always have the perfect photograph that will be compelling enough to capture the attention of my audience.
Here are my top 3 picks for places to source images under Creative Commons CC0.
- Pixabay – Pixabay provides over 820,000 free high-quality stock photos, vectors, and art illustrations. As with any stock photo site some images are better than others, but with this many choices, you are sure to find an image that meets your messaging goals and is graphically compelling. Warning, you might get sucked into the rabbit hole of image searching.
- Minimography – Miniography is perfect if you are looking for a modern aesthetic. Although the resource library is smaller, the quality of every image is extremely high. Also if you are looking to create a consistent brand identity, selecting a series of images from the same photographer is useful.
- Unsplash – Unsplash is another wonderful resource to bookmark. Unsplash has beautifully curated collections all under the Creative Commons copywrite. You are sure to find a colorful well composed visual to supplement your marketing collateral.
Now you just need to perfect your image search terms. Happy photo hunting!
